The song accompanying this page is "Synth Sample 1" by Georg Feil, a loose arrangement of the "Stationary Ark" theme song composed by John Mills-Cockell. You may listen to it, if you like, but I recommend turning down the volume a little first!

VGMRips lets you explore a massive archive of retro video game music, in a format that is accurate, accessible, and small in filesize! It's a great way to learn more about the music libraries of certain consoles, handhelds and computers. You can even sort by soundchip if you like a particular sound! My favorite part is finding a composer I like and exploring their back catalog. Learn about the works of the chiptune gods like Yuzo Koshiro and Hitoshi Sakimoto. You might even be surprised by who you find! Did you know that anime composer legend Yoko Kanno worked for Koei for years before she composed for Cowboy Bebop? All music is listenable on-site or downloadable to listen to using any media player that can play .vgm format files (there's a handy list of them on the main page!)

DeepSID compiles many archives of music composed for the Commodore 64's SID chip together in an accessible, user-friendly archive. Some of the most legendary video game and demoscene songs ever composed have been on this chip. In fact, every song featured on this website was composed on the SID chip! This is one of my personal favorite sound chips, so I behoove you to explore and listen deeply to its ethereal, otherworldly brilliance!
